Enhanced Safety & Containment

The Safespear Cocoon is a modular and adaptable enclosure designed to create a controlled, over-pressurised environment. This positive-pressure system forms a physical barrier between hot work activities and surrounding hydrocarbons. Safety is enhanced through effective containment, pressurisation, modular construction, efficient air extraction, and the automatic shutdown of hot work tools if hydrocarbons are detected.

Safe Entry & Exit

The airlock system is designed for safe, efficient access, with lightweight, antistatic and flame-retardant doors, high-visibility colouring, an emergency touch bar, and integrated safety signage. A viewing window with welding screen allows ongoing monitoring of hot work. Supported by an experienced team, Safe Spear is focused on protecting personnel, maintaining asset integrity and delivering safe, reliable solutions in hazardous environments.

Purpose-Built Materials

The Safespear Cocoon is constructed from custom-engineered materials specifically designed for pressurised habitat use. Flame-retardant panels can withstand temperatures of up to 250°C, with the base material rated to 550°C. The materials are also antistatic, anti-slip and tear-resistant, supporting a safer working environment while keeping habitat design and construction efficient.

Carefully engineered panel types provide a high level of flexibility in habitat design while keeping the number of panel variations to a minimum. This allows complete habitat builds that can easily accommodate site obstructions, while reducing the need for excessive components, improving transport efficiency and simplifying on-site assembly.
